PRINCIPLES AND ELEMENT OF DRAWING:

Element of art: Group of aspect of a work of art used in teaching and analysis, in combination with the principles of art. They are:

* Texture: The way in which an artist depicts the quality or the feel and appearance of a surface, especially how rough or smooth it is.

* Form: The shape or structure of a thing that gives it its distinctive character,considered apart from its content,colour,texture, or composition.

* Line: A long narrow mark or stroke made on or in a surface.

* Colour: A pigment used in painting the appearance of a surface.

* Value: The accepted principle or standard in painting and drawing,the lightness or darkness of a color

* Shape: A mold or pattern for making something or giving something its form.
